  • Very nice level guys, looking forward to see what you´ll do next :) I have same problem like you. I have camera set to this point of view like you guys, but cant make my character go bacwards :/ I would like to have same camera/control system which is used in the game called "Abuse" please reply me, how you figured this problem out... and I have problem with disabling strafing and mouse look... But Ill be happy if you tell me how to in the first case :) Sry bout my ENG.

  • @JantaCZ The way I was able to configure the controls were by playing in UnrealScript and messing with the DefaultInput.ini files and such. Searching through the UDK website will help you find your answer!

Also, as far as the camera, what aspect are you trying to accomplish? The "Chase" camera and the "Classic" camera were set up differently.

  • Awesome. Could you possibly make a tutorial?

  • Haha super funny to see an Unreal model holding a non-existent gun, doing double jumps and making a tough sound in a cartoon world hahahaha

  • reminded me of LBP

  • Awesome, simply awesome

  • looks a bit like little big planet. but the style is nice! well done!

  • Great art style at the beginning

  • BSP's ... Please !!! Dont use them :] .

  • Hey for anyone wanting to make a real none kismet camera like this check out my tutorial.

  • @rorkimaru I used to use gamemaker a while ago, and it was very easy. I'm glad you replied, I can't wait to start making games :)

  • @Geared10k If you're going to use anything it may as well be UDK. It's free, industry standard and a very high quality engine. I used open source stuff before but now I'm trying to get to grips with UDK. It's not the easiest to wrap my head around but it's not bad.

It mightn't be a bad idea to start out with game maker though just to wrap your head around level design etc. Also, it's easier to work in 2D. I'd say working towards UDK should be your goal and it's not impossible to start there
