@ChevyTBlover the subject was 12 feet away from the wall. You can defiantly get that kind of blurring with your lens. The trick is understanding that DOF ( that out of focus blurring ) is caused by three variables that must be considered. You are only considering one of them and that is aperture value. There are 2 others. Please see the complete tutorial on the website listed in the video and on the forums there.

@gfcfgal Sorry but this was 7 months ago. I just don't remember. But you should be able to get close seeing the shots on the screen and me telling you what lens was used.

how far away were you from your subject? I've wanted the Fab 50 lens but recently got the 55-250mm IS Canon lens.
