These talks by Christine Breese are satsang videos especially for the internet directly to you, sponsored by University Of Metaphysical Sciences. Christine Breese is the founder of University of Metaphysical Sciences, which offers Bachelors, Masters, Doctorate D.D. and Ph.D. degrees in metaphysical subjects.
Christine Breese speaks often of being still in the mind and being in the moment. This is only the beginning of enlightenment. After that, the experience of knowing the self that you are is ever deepening and the journey truly never ends. If you would like to meet Christine Breese in person, she offers retreats throughout the year. You can contact University Of Metaphysical Sciences at http://umsonline.org/MeditationRetreats/WinterMeditationSatsangRetreats/Calif... for retreat schedules or registration. Christine Breese says: "Let yourself be challenged. Meet the challenge of challenging people. You will develop more patience and tolerance if you put yourself around challenging people and love them anyway. That doesn't mean you have to stay around a person who is a challenge if they are behaving badly, but it is important not to avoid people who are challenging to your zen, because they need to experience people who will love them anyway in order to realize that there is another way."
"Being around someone who is a challenging person to be around, allowing your zen to be challenged, will speed up your spiritual growth. Challenges are a catalyst to spiritual growth. Without challenges, spiritual growth cannot even happen. If your zen is never challenged, then how to you know if you have truly mastered it? It is easy to be zen if you are by yourself on a mountaintop and never have to deal with someone who is a pain in the neck, or never have to deal with someone who bugs you. What is zen worth if you can't exercise it around someone who challenges it?"
"So use challenges and challenging people as the opportunities they are for strengthening your zen, speeding up your spiritual growth, and becoming an even more masterful human being in the realm of being a loving, tolerant and compassionate human being." Christine Breese
