use optical flares and trapcode particular when you create the energy ball

on the last effect with that lightning key frame the conductivity state at the start of that clip then take it to the end and set it on a kinda high number it will animate it better :)

honestly, I forget...It had to have been a text/font effect in cs4...i have no special plug-ins as of yet
