Yomo Toro accompanies Sammy Rosa on this classic aguilnaldo to the mother nation of Borinquen as sung originally by Hector LaVoe. Zon del Barrio does this classic accompanied by another Fania alum: Reynaldo Jorge on lead trombone, Willie "El Loco" Alvarez on 2nd 'bone & Jose Rivera on 3rd. On bongos we have 14 year old Mario Muñoz and 20 year old Oreste Abrantes on the conga chair. Tito Gonzalez is on the timbales but when Nelson Matthew Gonzalez is not dancing, the 17 year old is at the timbales and doing dance solos.
Yomo got inspired at the end of the tune and came up with his own "jibaro" diddy he added at the end there.

An Alfie Alvarrado documentary.
