It came today... truth in advertising: it is pretty insane! I wish I had a camera, so I could give you a demonstration. It has a very nice flavor - quite similar to what I remember original insanity sauce being like. It's notably hotter, too, that's for sure!
@squezey1 For sure, the endorphin rush is what it's all about for me too! I always used to keep sauces like this on hand; don't know why I quit...Just one day ran out and never bought more. Anyway, thanks for the review! I couldn't find a good price on this sauce, but found a bottle of Dave's Ultimate Insanity Sauce for about 18USD shipped (it's evidently hotter than the original Insanity Sauce; about on par with 357, from what I've read). Can't wait to try it!
@statikreg I never ate an actual ghost pepper before so I don't know but I like it because of the endorphin rush I get from doing it, feels really good. My whole body gets all tingly too. But if you have high tolerance and can eat so much you would probably burn out your stomach before you get that feeling I like to kick it down a little to habanero level so I can have enough of a constant flow of high level heat to get a much better endorphin rush.
@squezey1 Very true. I'm just wondering if this sauce is "that hot", how you can eat a whole table spoon!? I understand tolerance, and everything, but my god, man...I could probably do it, but I wouldn't be talking that much for a while, and alas, I have let my tolerance slip lately. Thinking of trying some of this and getting another bottle of Dave's to kick things off :D Btw, Dave's is rated a mere ~180k Scoville units, for what it's worth... thought it was more.
@statikreg I believe Dave's Insanity isn't as hot as Mad Dog 357 Ghost Pepper edition. But when heat levels get as hot as the ghost pepper range, it doesn't matter much because you wouldn't notice much of a difference besides taste.
I haven't tried that one, but looks interesting. Have you tried Dave's Insanity Sauce? Very likely that if any sauce can bring you to your knees, it will be that one.

@statikreg ULTIMATE insanity sauce? Never heard of it, I only have the original. It's expensive but lasts a long time so it's worth it.
