  • Nice video :) Brings back memories of my late cat... :(

  • @ScrotalKarma aww =( I know what you mean. When my childhood cat passed away, so many things reminded me of her. But I know that she's in a better place, now and is chasing strings and rolling around in catnip!

  • I have a question. If I have a tripod would this be a good camera because it really doesn't look like there's any image stabilization at all. Love the quality though!

  • @fixierider97 I use this all the time with my tripod. My other channel is called SpeakingOfD, where I use this camera exclusively. The image stabilization on this really isn't all that great, but I may not be using it correctly. It has two modes of stabilization. One is a basic stabilization and another is more of a dynamic mode. If you check out my other channel, you'll see where I did a daily vlog for about 8 days and didn't use a tripod at all. I used the dynamic stabilization for that.

  • How do you like the GZ-HD500 JVC ? Looks like it takes good vid I want to use it for wildlife. I want to buy one this week any info would be great. thx

  • @BCNoel1 I'm iffy about how much I like it. It really does take some good video, but the image stabilizer doesn't seem to be all that great. I haven't done enough tests with it to figure out if it's me, or the camera. Look at my previous video (Buddy on the Balcony) and you'll definitely see how shaky the IS can be. Keeping it on a tripod definitely resolves this issue. Other than that, I'm not a fan of the mic on it, at all. It has no external mic or light inputs.

    Good luck! =)

  • These have to be the world's best cats!!

  • these creatures are given to us by God for fun ))

  • Can you film in the dark with this camera?

Like a infrared function or something, I don't know exactly how it's called.

  • @Fork501 My parting with my cat reminded me on the spot of the U2 song "Mothers of the disappeared". I instantly had that song in my head as I wept.

  • @Fork501 He's up there in feline heaven... up to no good as usual =)

  • @BCNoel1 And are you happy with your cam?
