Seldjuks and Oguz being destroyed doesnt mean their descendants were also lol, there were other ethnicities in some region Turks took over true. To fully assimilate them in a way so they would be a fully integrated identity of the Turkish populations is only possible if they were greatly outnumbered. There were Greeks and other people absorbed in the Turkish population being absorbed especially cultural and religeous doesnt make them Greek,Bulgar,..anymore in a way you put it.

They were not, cant even think how you got that rediculous conclusion. Ottomans were the continuation of the Seldjuk Turks which were at the time rivals of the Byzantine Greeks. Founded by Osman Gazi from the Oguz Turks, later on there were Greeks absorbed in the Turkish gene pool that doesnt at no sence mean they were Greeks. Just like modern Greeks having a bit Turkish genes doesnt mean tthey are Turks.
