Palm Pre = FAIL. My thoughts...

Palm Pre didn't get the fanfare for release that it did when it was announced, now i see why...

Dude seriously the iPhone is old news. The reality is:

Everything and anything else > iPhone

@CandianSuplex Oh yeah? Funny. You're right.. the Pre is better than the iPhone. That's why Palm went out of business, right? It was too much awesome to handle.

@cockyjeremy Alright they went out of buisness but you have to look at what they have done before that. Plus if Apple keeps it up with there iPhone 4 antenna, they will be joining Palm real soon

@CandianSuplex Have you seen iPhone 4 sales? Apple is fine. And like i've said to other people.. my iPhone 4 has zero reception problems.. same for my girlfriend's iPhone. Same goes for our screens, cameras, and proximity sensors.

@bluewavesix The Palm Pre has awesome software, but the hardware for it is terrible- it's a plastic piece of crap. If I could put the software for the phone in a phone with good hardware, it'd be great.

@cockyjeremy Palm Fiscally was in trouble long before the Pre. The abstract ad campaign, and the poor marketing are what caused its lack of success.

If you want to talk build quality issues, look at the iphone 4... lol. Yellow Screen, reception issues, lol.

Operating system wise, webOS is superior to IOS in so many ways its silly. Apple's success is marketing, and keeping a very very simple ui. Not build quality, as there are many issues, they just keep it under raps well.
