Chemtrails look like contrails initially, but are more thicker, extend across the sky and are often laid down in varying patterns of X's, tic-tac-toe grids, cross-hatched and parallel lines. Instead of quickly dissipating, chemtrails expand and drip feathers and mares' tails. In 30 minutes or less, they open into wispy formations which join together, forming a thin white veil or what I like to call a "chemblanket" that persists for hours.

NASA has discharged trimethylaluminium (TMA) into the air above the Atlantic Ocean, as part of a 2003 project to study the ionosphere, creating linear man-made clouds which glowed in the night sky before drifting and dispersing.

Airplanes occasionally jettison fuel during emergency situations in flight.

There is NO such thing as "chem-trails". The word is CON-trail. As in CONDENSATION. If you're looking for chem-trails, then I'd suggest you watch for UFOs while you're at it, too.

We need three questions answered.

1. Where are these planes taking off from? - because that is where you need to take your protest. Get the newsies to follow you to the airstrip where the planes take off and land.

2. Are these government planes or privately owned planes? In either case, there should be a full public debate on the intention and outcome of spraying chemtrails into the sky - chase the fact of government or private.

3. What are they spraying, and who manufactures the chemicals?

I am from Hamilton and shake my head at the sky almost every day at the chemtrails but more importantly, I shake my head at the idiots who glance at the sky and DON'T EVEN NOTICE this going on! I shake my fists at the ignorant who pass it off as "jets or CON-trails". On the bright side, at least we now have the Firestone Institute for Respiratory Health and our wonderful JCC, hey...gotta give props to the Bob Kemp Hospice here in Hamilton too. WAKE UP PEOPLE!!!

@wop69691, umm... don't know how long you've been living in Hamilton, but have you ever heard of haze, temperature inversions, ground level ozone or smog? As in the stuff put into the atmosphere by cars and other sources of pollution?

Seriously, do people really have so little to do with their time that they spend it chasing this kind of nonsense???
