I love diving into a great self help book that will assist me to become more empowered and follow my purpose and passion more fully. I woke up this morning feeling absolutely compelled to share with you my latest read- Soulshaping by Canadian author Jeff Brown.

When I started reading this body of work, I had trouble putting it down and getting back to my tasks. I was moved to tears... I laughed... I was affirmed and encouraged.

Now on my second read, I am savoring the flavor of each page.

Sometimes a page will taste sweet because of the gentleness and encouragement felt through the words. Sometimes the taste will be spicy depending on the questions asked by Jeff. As a former trial lawyer, Jeff has the gift of asking superbly probing questions. Sometimes the taste is acidic, when it brings up a forgotten memory, one where I have not worked through the emotions and therefore I have not fully integrated the spiritual lesson.

The gift of Jeff Brown's work are too numerous to mention in a few short minutes - however I will say that his perspective on ascending spiritually, on traveling the internal journey, and on following our purpose and passion with feet planted firmly on the ground is hugely beneficial! Jeff's observations of the detachment models that exist will certainly benefit many who are trusting and eager to learn, from spiritual teachers and so called gurus.

"Soulshaping" has the ability to meet you where you are at on your journey.

The best way I can summarize Jeff Brown's work is that Soulshaping is the required fiber for your soul, in order for you to have your next emotional and mental dump. :) It will leave you feeling lighter, more grounded and encouraged, and assist you to become a little bit more real and see more of your authentic face.
