Question did this gain a lot of wow players from what i have seen on wow since i play wow and i am downloading the free trial for rift at the moment it dose not seem to have taken ANY impact on wow at all maybe a few players in some cases but not really big and its been about 2 months since this game was released i am just curious do not flame me because i play wow .i am trying rift out real soon cause i am interested

@ball15478 From my sources, alot of people have switched games, not only because of the better graphics and harder gameplay, but because it is for more adult players.

They certainly do have alot of players, before release they said we created over 1 million accounts or characters, can't remember. But either way, it were alot of accounts. You will see for yourself its a great game. Please note that this was in one of the first beta's.

Trion actually does not have a great game in the works now... This looks exactly like Warhammer, it is nowhere near conquering WoW. People always say that some new game will take down WoW, but it is not this day. I think the only potential WoW-killer is Blizzard itself. I've heard of some next-gen MMO they're making called Titan (that's the project name at least). They call this next gen? Not even close, its the same reworked crap.

@orindalid1 Nah, this is a WoW killer. And this does not look like WAR. Try to get into the beta, and you'll see. Now start crying about WoW losing alot of players.

been playing it for 4 days and i have to say it plays like wow but unlike wow its more complex and adult. if i enjoyed sitting on my ass for hours grinding away my life this would be a better game to do it for than wow..but an mmo is an mmo and in the end its all the same waste of time shit.

well i quit wow once they released a busted ass expansion weak as hell hop on wow people are pissed this game looks like it will be more adult rather then simplified talent trees requiring little to no skill to play... ill be playing this game in 4 days once my computer arrives :)... and as for wow losing players out of the 12 people i know that play wow only 2 are sticking with it everyone else is playing rift.. we will see how it all pans out but i dant see myself ever playing wow again.

@orindalid1 Your wrong this is game is a Wow killer. Don't judge it until you play it. It's quite fun and a big upgrade from warhammer. I've played WoW since release, finally this game is giving me something else worth playing.
