@Jorsalfar Mead is Honey Wine, But when left to ferment longer can become a very high proof, and still be considered mead. Just a very strong one. My friends brew it themselves, and it comes out about 70 proof, which is alot higher than the Traditional 15-20 proof of Wine. Still Mead though, with one hell of a bite. I love Mead :) Also for those who follow Norse Tradition, Mead works as a better offering to Thor than Typical Wine.

This must be the best cut from the album.

@Marastife In the book American Gods, mead is said to be honey WINE. Ask Neil Gaiman, he should know.

@Dhari1 So is mead (Fermented Honey Wine/booze) It is most likey a Norseman would be drinking that not beer. Beer and Ale originated in England, Ireland, and Scotlandk, That is where they grew hops. Germans, scandinavians, and those guys drank Mead, because bees were more predominant in that geological area. So any Golden Liquid reffering to the Norseman would have to be mead. I love mead, Nectar of the Gods themselves it is.
