In light of news that former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin will be appearing on Oprah Winfrey's show to promote her new book "Going Rogue," comedian Dennis Miller tells Bill O'Reilly that she is no longer a rogue. "I think of Oprah's show as sort of a cathartic ATM," said Miller, who added that she has a brighter future as an author than the leader of the free world.

"This is not rogue to me," he says. "This is some concession that she's whooped; I don't think she is going to run for President."

  • I often don't agree with Dennis Miller, but I thought he was making a good point here. Palin is no longer going rogue... if she ever had. She has a book that has received major media attention, she has done many mainstream media interviews including Oprah, and now she has joined Fox News. She is as far away from rogue as one can get. Palin is now officially a part of the mundane mainstream.

  • i hope she runs for president, just so obama gets another guaranteed term.

  • Watch how insignificant Sarah Palin becomes. As long as people thought she may run for president, they were interested in what she had to say and she knew this.

  • Q: What does Sarah Palin and LiL Wayne have in common.

A: Nothing that comes out their mouth makes any sense.

  • How can someone with an IQ of about 85 (being generous) be capable of giving it 'much thought' not to run for president? Not criticising the US by the way, we have our own Theresa May!

  • lets take her name off the book and never mention her namr a........gain!

  • Sarah Palin was never "going rogue" and anyone that thinks she was is just a sheep. The whole "rogue" perspective just came from trying to get the republican party to appear fresh and willing to change after the horrible Bush administration. Being "rogue" or a "maverick" was a way to make the public think you want change without actually stating so.

  • I used to love Miller's stand-up routines, what happened to him? 15 years ago he would have been tearing Palin apart. He's a smart guy and was center-left in his views, now he's gone far right. It's really sad seeing him now and remembering what he used to be like.

  • Dennis makes a point (that he later forgets when he interviews her on his radio show). How can Palin claim to be an outsider from the leftist, elitest media when she's appearing on Oprah? She's also been on SNL and is a talking head on a major news network.

    Total hypocrite.

  • Dennis Miller is the classic grenade thrower who stays comfortably and safely in his foxhole while the average joe with some guts(like O'reilly) are out on the front-lines engaging in hand-to-hand combat. Face-to-face encounters aren't Miller's style I guess. He can't even muster up the nerve to attend White House functions(with O'reilly as body-guard). Face it, Dennis is a pedantic coward.

  • @mrsthursday-continued; read the communist manifesto, Obama's books, listen to pre-presidency speeches of his, listen to him talk about the constitution's lack of giving government more control over civilians lives, sit back & think what exactly his health care plan will do to your privacy and right to choose, how his cap & trade will cause more taxes 2 you & I, whether it taxes us directly or not, & then you'll understand just what a commie Obama is. His ideas R straight out of communism 101.
