What everyone has failed to realise is that yes ios 4 is quicker than ios 5. But this video came out a long time before ios 5 was released. it isn't dumb because ios needs a higher level of hardwear. Its stupid because you cannot compare an early beta edition to the final product.

Ios 5 is MUCH faster on iphone 3G and up because they have more RAM and the update doesnt take much on the iphones cause the have enough to spare...now, for ipod touch users...you may wanna do a downgrade... My basic ram on 4.3.3 is 120-160!! Trust me ipod users downgrade!!

This video is an accurate depiction of how iOS5 runs on a 3GS.
I agree with many comments about it being an unfair comparison as IOS5 was designed primarily for the 4/4S... But many many people still have the 3GS (even Apple are not removing it from sale), so there will be plenty of people that will want to see this, and use it as a guide as to whether they should update or not.
IOS5 is very good, with lots of new useful features, but on the 3GS, 4.3.3 was certainly quicker.

@lindoshe why not ? if some users have 3GS and they are wondering upgrade to iOS5 or not - this is very valid test.
