The war between Russia and Georgia has ended but 190,000 Georgian refugees remain. Since 1992 friction between Abkhazia and Georgia has resulted in Georgian's fleeing the breakaway state. Now they want to go home but can't.
Giorgi Djodjishvili is one of the thousands of refugees living in semi-permanent camps in the Georgian countryside, Its like a terrible reservation. They're forced there because Georgia's breakaway region Abkhazia is hindering their return. "Before the war that territory was Georgian, it was our home". Abkhazia sides with Russia which now controls the border between the breakaway region and Georgia. People have been demonstrating outside the parliament 24 hours a day and the UN wants them returned.

funny how the usa called russia out for international law violations for invading but the usa invaded iraq after specificly being denied permission by the UN.

iraq didnt attack the usa, iraqis werent involved in 911. so the invasion was based on a hunch of weapons that turned out to not exist.

international law is nolonger respected, and the usa is in no position to expect anyone else to follow it. theres a new cold war on the way with no trust to count on.

@usespanner1 do u know how many Georgian have been killed by that exuct Russian army in past 20 years? They bomb Georgian villiges at least once a weak. Do u know what they to inoccent civilians in there? They hanged people on electricity pipes so that no one would take them down, they burned inoccent Georgians alive. They killed houndreds of inoccent children and played soccer with it!!!, they cut 6 years old girl's head of and with her blood wrote as these will never reunite so will Georgia

Yeah I know but here in Europe we think Georgian army's attack was too dangeorus for civilian (ethnic Ossetian) people. You didn't attack only the separatist militants, the Georgian army killed a lot of civilian people too.

(A lot of people die in Spain every year, ETA kills them but Spain do not attack the whole region...)

Of course I think the Russian army should leave Ossetia and go back immediatley.

@usespanner1 importance and the reason is that South Osetia is Georgia has been and Russian bases in there were taken by Force by Russians in 1990s. Ever after they have been bombing and anexing Georgian population gradually. Some one had to do something. because in 08 it became as shamless as never before. u are talking about army who hanged inoccent population on electricity pipes just for quick amuzement
