NFTE Bay Area Teens at Merrill Lynch/NFTE Bay Area Regional Business Plan Competition featured in story on Univision.
Last night, Bay Area high school student Alejandra Bonilla, 16 year old from San Leandro High School - Academy of Business and Finance, won top prize in the Merrill Lynch/NFTE Bay Area Regional Business Plan Competition for her business alb. She received a cash prize of $1,500. Jesus Ballote, 18 year old of Life Learning Academy High School, placed second for his business Chuyz Fresh Fitz and took home a cash prize of $1,000. Both students also will receive expense paid trips to New York City to represent Northern California in the NFTE National Competition this Fall. Landall Bell, 17 year old from Ida B. Wells High School took third place for his business, Phantom Studios and received a $750 cash prize.
