Alex Zanardi back on his feet for the first time

the year is 2001, the month december. The Cerimony is the "caschi d'oro" ( Golden Helmets ) wich celebrates top drivers during the Motorshow, a motor festival held in Italy every december in the city of Bologna. It is the first public event for alex Zanardi after his crash in Lausitzring, witch took him away both his legs and almost killed him. For the first time he shows himself in public and for the first time he stands up on his new legs. A very emotional moment. Watch it and enjoy

L'anno è il 2001, il mese dicembre. La cerimonia è quella dei "caschi d'oro" nata per celebrare i migliori piloti dell'anno e che si tiene al motorshow di Bologna ogni anno in dicembre. Si tratta del primo evento pubblico a cui ha partecipato Alex Zanardi dopo il suo incidente a Lausitzring che gli portò via entrambe le gambe e che quasi gli costò la vita. Per la prima volta si mostra in pubblico e per la prima volta in pubblico si solleva nuovamente, sulle sue nuove gambe. Un momento di profonda emozione. Guardatelo e godetene
