Yes, golden age of "new age music". I stand by it. In the 1980s, a new type of instrumental music, featuring both electronic and acoustic music, became relatively popular. Windham Hill Records was one of the labels that emphasized the music, and for a while attained modest popularity. This music isn't for everyone, but those who enjoy spacy, melodic, creative, experimental sound, this music was great.
