Cartoon Network - Droopy and Shaggy

Here's another promotional Cartoon Network commercial from the same time period, though in a different commercial break. In this one, Droopy is driving a red convertible as Shaggy (from Scooby-Doo) discusses differences in Cartoon Network overseas.

Also, Shaggy LIES. The American Cartoon Network is very much unlike the others in that, for a while, it was one of the few Cartoon Networks to be its own channel and the only 24/7 version. It's more common now, but Cartoon Network in many countries are still blocks within other channels or go off the air at night.

Interestingly enough, this is not the original version of this commercial. I don't remember what the original line Shaggy said was when they pulled into the diner, but Droopy still said "I can't see over the wheel."

@Overhazard Cartoons were great when everything was hand drawn and animated back in the day. Those were true cartoons, which is what made Cartoon Network good back in the day. The CGI stuff we have today has pushed CN into the tank IMO.
