@cockshe you make no sense. President Obama has no personal profit interest or business profit interestin Big Oil and the over pricing of it. However Republicans in office have very clear and present ties to the Oil industry. so you propose we vote IN the people repsonsable for the gas hikes and vote OUT the poeple who don't? Is it any wonder that the industries think they can get away with anything when the most outspoken citizens don't knwo the score and frankly don't WANT to?

@cockshe you honestly think that not raising the debt ceiling is a good first step to solving our problems? If we don't raise it we will default on our debt and that will totally sink the economy. Also how about all the economist who say raising the debt ceiling is the right thing to do. Raising the debt ceiling means we are going to pay our bills and not default. also, lets not forget that the republicans raised the debt ceiling five times during bushes presidency.

Oh for sure! I see yesturday that the House refused passage of the ceiling.That is a great 'first' step toward restoring some fiscal responsibility to the U.S! But it must go much much further as we both know! I hope the Prez will take this for what it is, people of the U.S don't want to become the next Greece, downgraded to a 'C' status yesturday! No wonder the bloody markets lost nearly 2%, and me about a weeks wages! Don't let this happen to America! Tell Barry the wallet is empty! Putz,nice!
