  • Richard Elkus makes some great points, once you get off the train it is really difficult to get back on. It may be cheaper and easier to simply outsource and buy from someone else but to use an example i.e. amateur radio specifically amateur television, I have actually witnessed a decline in techie knowhow since I got into it in 2003. However, unless you have technical training whether it be an engineering degree or a do-it-yourself, business people simply cannot understand Elkus argument.

  • It's time to start paying attention.

The world is full of smart people and millions of them have a hunger for success we've lost through becoming too comfortable in the West.

We need to regroup, rebuild and play to our strengths.

We need to work with the rest of the world so that we all benefit.

We need to allow the rising tide to benefit everybody.

But we really, really need to make sure we don't let it all slip away from us because the world does not owe us a living.
