So... I'm about 10 months late to this video... but are you interested in and going to play Diablo 3?

@jessewski Yep, very much on my to-do list.

And it's kind of funny... I ultimately ended up not buying Cata and am not planning to buy ToR. Tera's the only game in the original video that holds even the slightest appeal to me now.

Most of my time until D3/Tera/DotA2 come out is being spent on League of Legends, though, which I wholeheartedly recommend.

@nublock5000 oh nice :) I ended up buying Cata... it's really not as hard as M'uru/Heroic LK 25 was... but it's alright. I've since canceled my subscription after downing 11/13 heroic 25 bosses just because it became pretty boring.

However I do play both League of Legends and Heroes of Newerth. I'm not sure which I like more though. As much as the games are alike, they are also completely different play style. Diablo 3 is something I will probably lose my social life over for a few weeks.

i have this sinking suspicion that tera and TOR will fucking disappoint but i love the savage 2-like aspects of tera that bring a decidedly fps flavor and challenge curve (altho looking at actual mechanics and content this seems questionable - how much skill does it take to face roll with - or without a targeting system?)

@diogeneslaertius666 It would not be the first game to fucking disappoint. Conan, Warhammer, Aion... there have been a few "WoW-killers" that have turned out to be fucking awful. We're very spoiled by what WoW used to be and what we know Blizzard is capable of. We know they can do better than this, and that they can challenge us, but being handed gear feels like an insult to my intelligence. What happened to working for what you have?

The whole point about the tor dark/light thing is so you can be a sith whose trying to bring his people to pease or a reckless fuck who just wants to kill people.

@nublock5000 will do... but a fair warning, I haven't been playing terrible long... I'm only level 15 :P I'm not terrible at the game, but I'm still not as good at League as I wish I was lol.

I think you should go for the republic, because it's kind of the star wars storyline to be evil if ur on the dark side... I for one can't wait to become the most evil Sith Lord XD
