I LOVE Lawrence, but I was rooting for Kevin Skinnner just a bit more. But I LOOVEED this perfomance so much. It was my favorite. But I am glad that Kevin Skinner one. But Lawrence will definetly become famous, and I will buy his CD right away.

Your opinion is almost the same as mine :). Although the two most talented were Barbra and Lawrence, I wanted Lawrence and Kevin to be the top 2. Lawrence= amazing talent, Kevin= really humble, deserving guy. Those two were my Favs since their audition.

Some people in the finals were getting votes on side things not just their talent level.

Kevin= emotional votes

opera= cancer sympathy

voices of glory = helping their mom

I agree. His Barry White song in the Finals was LETTER-PERFECT. I want him to make lots of albums and sell millions of records. He so deserves it!

Cus now and days, ppl just sing hip hop, very boring, but damn this voice is just sends chills to my SPINE! i would totally buy his debut CD, hopefully if he does! ^_^

James Hyter, who sang this at the Memphis Sympony Orchestra every year for about 25-30 years, died this past year. I would have said nobody was right to take his place, but I believe he would be honored by Lawrence Beaman stepping up to the plate. He is from the midsouth area, so it would be most appropriate.
