He's rowdy, he's obscene, but I gotta believe he is the real deal. I've known a few like him and they don't make up stuff, don't have to. And he certainly is NOT racist, look who he has as companions.

@Buddwizerr I doubt he has to make anything up. If he was the only white kid in school, I bet he learned to fight real young. Then he grew up fast, 6+ feet tall as a teen. He ended up in nam in 69. Notice he never brags about his exploits in Nam. If he was a braggart he would be talking junk about Nam but he doesn't. Then there are the drugs. That accounts for some of his behavior, you can't do a lot of drugs and be truly 'normal'. At 3:19 see his Tazmanian devil on the chair back!
