Bill Maher is a distraction pushing piece of shit. electric cars in the 70's? lol. The first electric car was invented in the early 1800's. Maher NEVER raises the real issues and truths. He makes fun of the ignorance of Americans yet he himself is ignorant.
Why does he not tell us the truth and point out the Super rich such as the Rockerfellers, Rothschilds, big Banking elite run the Petroleum industry and want control over us, meanwhile making big dollars and attaining true wealth

How much proof does one need to be convinced that Earth is something beautiful to be taken care of? Forget politics. This is the only home you have, so either do something to protect Earth's ecology or keep your head up your ass.

I agree with him in part, we should look after our environment and limit our fishing etc but i think he takes it a step to far. Stop drilling?? the world needs oil, at least at the moment and with an increasing population and increasing developing countries this demand is only going to get bigger. Electric Cars won't catch on either because where d'you think you get the electricity to power the batteries?? thats right the plug socket which is powered by conventional power stations.

You cannot stop drilling! How do you expect government officials to pay for they summer home and weekend hookers.

bill maher is so right about starting the changes in the 70's. jimmy carter wanted to change things but there the public\political will wasn't there.

Fish have been around for millions of years. To say they will not be here in 50 years is ridiculous in my opinion.

I apologize for being SO of-topic, but I can't be the only person shocked outtta my head that the damn 'Krypt Keeper' (as old as Larry King must be), said his kids are TEN and ELEVEN. EWWWWW!

More than that, Ron Paul is a creationist who says he "does not accept evolution as a theory".

He also says that a rigid separation between church and state has no basis in either the text of the Constitution or the writings of our Founding Fathers.
Though he touts the Constitution by name all the time, yet he remains ignorant of it & of our founding secular principles. His other ideas are wacky. Ron Paul is a big part of the problem -- definitely not a solution!

@OGdank13
Ron Paul seems the fellow least likely to use government power to punish corporations who have acted badly or to try to entice more sustainable development. Additionally, Ron Paul took the socially conservative stance of being opposed to abortion rights, which is not something that Bill seems like he would go along with.
