@1964cgh I agree with you. While I think that most of the SLs show that R/A have always been a little bit in love no matter who they were with or what they were doing, I think that this was clearly going to be Duke and Anna's time. She just loved Duke more than she loved Robert at this point. There was never a doubt in my mind that she would choose Duke, who would basically just have to put up with R/A's kind of inappropriate relationship for a while, haha. Anna had 2 loves, that is clear.

i don't think robert forgiving anna at this point of her and duke's relationship will make her choose robert,maybe in the beginning. anna's love for duke is to far gone now.duke is the second man anna' have ever loved. this is her 1st chance to allow herself to love someone else and accept love from another man,to move foward. i am truly a robertanna fan, but this is what i think. eventhough robert was her 1st love,dosen't mean he was destined to be her only love

Yeah really upset me Anna Marrying Duke, specially after Holly died and Robert was free to be with her again and they both spent time again in Paris that should of made the difference for them Robert should of told her the one thing she wanted to hear from him I forgive ya. If he would of told her that she wouldnt of looked at Duke twice, its always been Anna and Robert!

Did Sean have a thing for Greta? I saw a clip where Tiffany found him kissing her and she poured a drink over him. Sean could be a fool every now and then.

I think he's always been in love with her, sublimated at times, but present nevertheless, and I think the same went for Anna. And yes, I do believe they were end-game. It seems certain that Gloria Monty built it that way from the start when Anna came on. She created the most romantic back-story EVER for them and then gave them Robin- no other romantic partners stood a chance really- not with all the destiny and spy-glamour (LOL) thrown into the mix...

I always had the sense of a flexible, woven bond between R & A, its strength and durability reinforced as each skein of shared experience, goal, conflict, emotion was braided into it.
