Participants at the CrossFit San Ramon running clinics learn HOW to run. When learning most every sport students are taught proper technique, every sport except running. Most people train for running by focusing on programs that teach how far to run and how much effort to use with each run, forgetting to learn how to run properly. The result? Plantar Fascitis, IT Band Syndrome, Siatica, to name just t few. Yes, running is a natural movement for humans, but years of wearing shoes with extensive cushioning in the heels, and hours spent sitting at desks and in cars creates un-natural movements and unhealthy running technique. The clinics are taught by Tim Hill, Northern California's only POSE Method certified running coach.
