Yeah I always used to laugh that they used this sombre, sad music for whenever a channel closed down, lol. As if they actually cared that it had closed down... bit dramatic, eh? lol. Now they don't even put any music on... but I used to play this stuff for hours. xD
i remember falling asleep in front of the tv then waking up at 3 in the morning with this playing as the channel has gone off air lol. I used to love all the music from Telewest, esp their main theme by Primal Scream.. I wouldn't go with anyone else, i'm still happy as a Virgin Media customer with phone/broadband/tv/mobile, fantastic company and superb fibre optic broadband.... but why, why did you get rid of this music? its so awesome

@neometal92 They mostly used this when channels died "Shop! The Value Channel has ceased transmission" for example.

IIRC this was used sometimes before 2002 to announce channel closes.
