Awesome video! You just saved me from using putty on a 60 year old shotgun with a stripped out buttplate screw! Thanks!!!

is there a way to do this without a drillbit or electronic screwdriver?

Is there any reason you prefer matches over round toothpicks?

Hi there,
Now would this work for a door that is sagging due to stripped wood holes? Should I check for additional alternatives since it is a heavy object?
Thanks. :)

Can you tell me if this would also work for filling in holes for hanging heavy blinds from? I would be afraid that the weight would be too much and they may fall down. Great video BTW and thanks for posting it.

@Tibouchina11 It depends on what the wall is made of. This technique will NOT work on gypsum (drywall) only on woods. Using Toothpicks, which are hardwoods, are even better than matchsticks, but not usually necessary. For drywall you need an anchoring system for hanging heavy items. Check at your hardware store for some nice options.
