Luigi hasn't gotten much love? Well he may not have his own game except Luigi's Mansion he is at least there to help out on adventures as a sidekick. Waluigi is in a far worse condition than Luigi. Name one nonsports/party game Waluigi was in. Yep he wasn't in any. Poor Waluigi never even got a role as a sidekick character in any platformer. Daisy was better off than Waluigi because she was the hostage in Super Mario Land 1 that Mario had to save so she was in a platformer as well.
