They played this show recently on BBC4, I watched it with a couple of other people and by the end we were all Neil Diamond fans, nearly 40 years later,he was simply awesome.

I always have listened to his music over the Years, but more now I have more respect for the way he went about things.
His voice is nothing short of an Angel, and the meaning behind his lyrics make me think.

He's given us many great songs through the decades. This "quiet" concert in 1971 to the rousing stadium concerts in the 90s (that I went to) still evoked the passion of his songs, singing and performance. It's been a while since I've seen him perform on TV but the last was only within the last couple of years and he is still going strong. He is one of the greats!
