Vocal style reminds me a bit of Tracy Chapman, can't touch her of course, but similar....

if i ever learn to play at an acoustic guitar the first thing i would try is to make a cover of this song...it's so full of rythm and lifting it's one of those songs that are almost perfect( nothing in this world is perfect )

Again i say she can sing live if you are a musician and you understand vocals you will hear that she sings in the right key she sings from her chest and so on.
Its so beautiful when you understand vocals when you dont understand vocals all you will hear is some dark weird thing in her voice.
But if you do understand vocals live she sounds alot better because they flatten out her accent on album version

love this song.. and I hate the album version - that flattened voice.. She has so amazing accent - all wiped out on the album. I just don't understand all the people complaining about "wtf happens with her voice live" - it just sound all natural and so full.. damn you people
