  • This sounds like astroturf

  • The easiest way for those whose brains are the size of "tea" cup to fill in anything at all, is to shut it up out loud around their concern, Even though their concern isn't about healthcare but their unemployment and the messes originated from the last president in which they gave him two terms to do nothing but spread terror and fear like they did now - scare tactics.

Like the saying, what they lack in intelligence, they make it up even more in volume.

  • Actually, ALL Ponzi-type schemes work marvelously until their inevitable collapse.

  • Actually I used to work in a doctor's office and every considered Medicare the easiest to deal with.

  • and thats why it needs to be reformed :| for as smart as you seem to think you are, you can't seem to grasp the basics

  • The old people should take pension earlier. So other younger man and woman can get jobb and not ending up of becoming a criminal.

  • There are a number of things the Government can do to cut cost and gain quality by getting rid of regulations that have cut free market competition. Put healthcare dollars in the hands of consumers. Goverment regulation are what have driven up cost. cato. org and heritage. org have great plans to save money w/o adding to our debt. They won't even consider because they want bigger Government and more power. If this passes you are left with no competition no choice.

  • Are you joking? The red tape to get reimbursed from medicare medicaid is a disaster. Rates are all over the place and Doctors fight for months to get reimbursed. You don't know it because it is part of their doing business and they don't bother patients with it. Medicare/medicaid waste $1 to every $3 they spent on fraud, overpayments and administrative cost. They are est. $70 billion in the red this year. That is your tax dollars at work.

  • We already have socialized medicine in medicare medicaid and schip. Government sets the prices for half the healthcare sector directly and the other half indirectly. They control thru regulation all the resources and how they are used. They have done a lousy job of keeping cost down. 50% of Doctors do not except medicaid patients and 30% of Doctors will not take any new medicare patients. SCHIP is poor quality care. Why would anyone trust the Government to take over their healthcare.
