  • @Br0k3n1mAg1nAsHuNn3d Lol, I have an OCZ 750w running a GTX 590 and 16GB memory... sometimes its more about how well the PSU distributes the power than how many watts it can dish out. A high end 750w beats a low/mid end 1000w hands down imo.

  • @SimoneLuca1995 older / Low end cards don't have power connections because they are less powerful than higher end / modern cards so don't need additional juice from the power supply ... especially if your card is AGP.

  • @SimoneLuca1995 You probably have an older card, as the majority of them could rely on the power from the motherboard bus, while the newer ones require power directly from the power supply so that the bus is freed up for communications and so that the fans can get enough power.

  • @Br0k3n1mAg1nAsHuNn3d The 7 series uses a 28nm die and therefore uses less power than it's predecessors. This is also why it's cooler.

  • It is normal that my video card does not need a power cable?

  • If you want cheap, reliable and powerful, you go with Seasonic S12. It's bronze certified, quality is guaranteed, it's the same price and not to mention the cables are sleeved.

  • Oi thats a different trusty knife >.>

  • @Br0k3n1mAg1nAsHuNn3d why? my OCZ ModXstream Pro can handle a 7950..

  • ELRIC BRING 1000W OR 1500W POWER SUPPLY UNBOXING WITH 80PLUS BRONZE OR GOLD . BECAUSE WEE NEED POWERFUL POWER SUPPLY FOR MODERN GRAPHIC CARD

  • @declaration963 I'm not completely sure but yeah
