Live in Bielefeld, Germany November 7, 2008. Hear how four part harmony is created by the guys doing a medley of songs (ending with "I Wonder Why") by adding one singer at a time. Visit the Crystalairs website at www.crystalairs.com Then visit me, DJ Brad, on www.doowopcafe.net to hear lots of great doo-wop!

  • WOW! They are SO incredible. Fabulous woppin' harmonies! Thank you for posting this!

  • You are welcome! I loved the way they did this--very unique and a great way to open the concert!!!!!! And, yes, the car was a nice touch!

  • These guys are very well known in the U.S. Doo Wop circle. At least all the Doo Wop record stores in the NYC and Long Island areas have their records in stock. Excellent group. Only wish there were more young groups in America other than Fabulous Harmonaires who are excellent in their own right.

  • Agree with your comments. The Crystalairs performed at two of Ronnie I's UGHA concerts in NJ, the last time being in 2006. Amazing that Europe has had groups like them, Roomates, Chaperals, Fabulous Flops, and others for over 20 years, while here in the U.S. we get very few young groups. Europe is again producing new groups like the Earth Angels, Velvet Candles, and I Love You Sos, all of whom are about to release new CDs.

  • Great Great Great, mi very best group of Doo Wop

  • Yes, a great group! I hope they become much better known in the U.S.!

  • Another thing....that car is beautiful!!!!!

  • Son tremendos pero ustedes son magnificos tambien`!

  • It is "Time Was", a song done originally by the Flamingos. The Crystalairs have never recorded this song, but it sounded so good that night, they should!

  • What a great way to start an acappella concert !!!!!
