I LIVE IN TOWANDA PA AND GET FREE LEAVES AND CARDBOARD TO BUILD UP MY CLAY SOIL. ONE SQUASH PLANT FROM THE STORE HAS ENOUGH SEEDS FOR A FARM. I EVEN SPROUTED WATER CRESS FROM THE STORE WITH AN AIR STONE , AND FISH PUMP.
NOW i HAVE TONS OF IT..KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.

Great idea, you might want to buy the seeds the first year and then save them. Hybrids might not give you the plant your looking for in the next generation try the open pollinated type.You have got me interested in this, my garden catalog is selling these seeds at 4 to $5 a packet.

You're a sweetheart but two corn plants are not gonna grow corn. You have to have at least 4 rows of corn before the kernels will be polinated and actualy grow corn, as my son just learned for himself this year, he only had a few plants and empty cobs. You also cant depend on the squash and mellons you grow that was because some of them are hybrids and if they are their seeds won't set fruit. Just wanted to let you know. Gardening is really fun though keep it up.

Dont you need to plant more corn, it needs to cross plenate right? Or does some corn not need this? Very cool garden !

papayas and mangoes!!!? are you in a tropical climate, do you need a high temp for those kind of plants? AVOCADOS!!!! dont you need high temp and tropical clime for that!!!? wow, i love avocados man great idea
