Jack the 11½ yr old Westie using his Aero-Dawg inhaler.

Jack has Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis, Its kept under control with his inhaler which he uses twice a day, he will not get any better but with the inhaler it makes it more comfortable for him in his final months, he still likes to eat and play, only he gets worn out and breathless very quickly. He justs lays there and uses his inhaler without a fight, Im just supporting his chin on my hand and he moves his head away when hes done his 10 breaths, hes a very brave boy and very special to me.
On the 30th July 2010 Jack lost his battle against this cruel illness and passed away peacefully. He has left a big hole in all our lives and will be sorely missed.

Thankyou for your kind words, I tried my hardest to make his final 10 wks comfortable and also spoil him like mad and even after 5 months since his death it still hurts like hell. He loved Christmas and opening his presents and this yr just wasn't the same without him.

He's beautiful, reminds me of my Westie. Unfortunetly I lost her this morning, she was nearly fourteen so she lived a long and happy life. But it's nice to see other people share there videos of there Westies haha :)

THANK YOU for sharing this video with us. My wife and I have to start our Yorkie on the breathing mask soon. I just ordered it. "Junior" has had trouble breathing since Nov. 2010. We have gotten 4 sets of lung/chest xrays since, and it just gets worse and worse. He is on Aminophylline 2x day and preds.. I hate how the pred. makes him act. Poor lil' guy doesn't know what he wants. He only has 3 legs, and he gained 2 lbs. since the preds.This is dangerous to his only front leg. Very frustrated.

I am so sorry and in tears for you! We lost our Angus on April 5, 2010 to bladder cancer. All Westies are angels in disguise!!! The sweetest dogs we can ever hope for. I feel terrible for you ThePerky40!!
