is this a kyogen?

What school of Noh is this and when/where did this happen and with whom?
-
The reason there are no instruments, full chorus, or elaborate costumes is because this is a segment of the Noh play "Yashima" this I believe is the "kuse" section of the play but I could be wrong. Noh segments like this are called "shimai" and are usually what performers in training perform before they move on to perform an entire play. I personally like this dance the best out of MANY of the Noh dances, fun to do AND ESPECIALLY fun to watch!

Oh awesome this is the warrior piece "Yashima" about the battle between Nortisune and his rival. The Shite is remembering the battle that happened that day. (There don't appear to be any plays in which the characters ever die on stage but there are many in which the main actor recalls their time of death.

This was just a spur of the moment thing at intermission, the two full length plays had the flute and the drum and everything.
