Peter Mayer: Holy Now

There has to be a place where we take off our shoes because there's something particularly true about that place or that Person. Walking around everywhere barefoot isn't a theology -- it's a lack of one

Love the song. Ludicrously, as a fan of what he's saying, I'm quick to critique it: if everything is holy, nothing in particular is. It's like saying "everything is large" -- you lose the ability to differentiate. To say everything is something is to predicate nothing, really. It SOUNDS good, but it's more an emotive, connotative hat trick than it is a meaningful claim.

Inspiring!

Is anyone aware of Peter's work on the Dave Weckl's CD "Master Plan"? Great guitar licks and vocal work. Pick it up and add it to your collection.

For the longest time I thought this was performed by Darius Rucker/Hootie & The Blowfish. Love this song!

You could say this became a theme song for many of us last week in a class. Thanks.

I agree with the nice responses posted, and want to express my thanks to the person who posted this, and to Peter Mayer. I have played this video many times since Michael Dowd shared it with a group of us, and have shared it with others. Peace be with you.
