I was surfing about on here several days ago and came across someones upload of the Hugo Montenegro version of this tune. I used to play this regularly, but it has been quite a few years now since I have given it a go. So......there are some rough spots in this one. I did not have the time to spare to do several takes and pick the best one. This is pretty much just sitting down and playing it.
This arrangement is my own, but it is influenced by several different versions.
I am playing this on the mighty EX - 42, because everyone seems to like to see this vintage Electone in action. I have to say that for a 1973 model, it still kicks butt !

all right , you know I live in Los Angeles and some time ago I saw the EX42 in one of those piano stores in Corea town, and I asked for permission to test it for a little bit and wow, i really was impressed; I dont think I ever asked how much was it, but how much money do you think the organ is in today standards? cheers

@decatlon14 Hi there, I really can't guess what one is worth today. Some organs just get old, and old organs are not worth much. Some organs get old, and become classics ( like an EX-42 ), so then they retain their value, or even increase in value as they get hard to find. You would have to have a pretty large wad of cash to make me even consider selling mine, so, I guess I am not much help.

Hey Larry in this video when you play are you using the correspondent EX42 tone cabinets or the FX1?
decatlon14 3 months ago
@decatlon14 I'm using the R-60B cabinets that belong to the EX-42. They are on the other end of the room though. The 42 is sitting right next to one of the TX-1s that belong to the FX-1. It's pretty full of organs and speakers in that room !
