The choices were to drive either the Pepsi globe or theism into extinction. Necessarily so for the sake of the survival of straight men world wide, some smart and practical human beings chose to sacrifice the former. Your ungodly globe is burning in hell while I watch the New York Giants represent New York City and righteousness against the Packers.

Welcome to the new age of logos. the originals are dying out.. strange new world of advertizing..

Is this something worth getting one's tits in a knot over? I'd get excited if they made the actual product taste a little better.

This is a refreshing and astute analysis of a serious design/marketing misstep. As a graphic artist by trade, I'm impressed with your breakdown of the ways in which this was a bad logo design... enough to leave my first comment... and I've been watching your videos in reverse for the past few days... so yeah... that's a lot of videos passed without comment. I should comment more. You're awesome!

i say... drink coke, lol. but honestly, the new pepsi logo looks like they are trying to be all modern and hip, but it just fails. dont they see that coke can have the same looking letters forever with no problem?

Actually, I kinda like it. Sorry to give you thumbs down for the first time ever but I disagree. I was glad when their logo stopped looking like the unholy progeny of the Netherlands Flag and the Yin-Yang symbol.
