I edited this film for all of the uncultured people out there whom have never seen the Qatsi trilogy. The shots I chose were from Koyaanisqatsi (the first of the series); directed by Godfrey Reggio and cinematography by Ron Fricke. The score is by Moby.

whatever happened to the thrill of exploration? the thirst for new worlds and deciphering the secrets of the universe? now that are global connection is hooked up and online, why not explore each other and bring peace and happiness to the world? but we would rather be led, and have a few be powerful (on a global and local level) in place of a common goal of humankind? i can't understand this, even though i am guilty of it as well.

we all look like insects. or a virus. it makes me wonder what we are actually accomplishing, when everyone lives their seperate lives (borders and barriers and discrimination) inside the mass, what does that do for us? we just dwell.
