wow i only associated amy winehouse with the druggy newspaper storys and her brilliant songs but never seen her in this light what a lovely cool funny girl thanks for the video im wiser for it :)

I read things like "what a waste of talent" so many times, that I want to throw in a comment here... I don't believe Amy's that her talent was wasted. She didn't produce nearly as much music as we would have liked or lived the happy life so many wanted for her. But, she did bring something fucking incredible into this world, something that will be remembered for a long time. Was that a waste? No, it was a gift. We should be grateful not greedy.

Her music is STREETS ahead of ALL those other "singers".The personal aspect of her writing makes what she left behind,something that will ENDURE,along with her amazing voice.Aguilara,has a GREAT voice,but Amy was/is a jazz singer in my view,that's the difference,her influences,were serious Jazz vocalists,and trully,she belongs in that same discussion.She was IS,..that good.RIP

@thejakemeister1 I'm with you. Amy's songwriting skills impress me at least as much as her singing. I really do think she will be remembered among the greats. I also think, in the long run, she will be remembered for her music not the horrible images and lies pushed out by the press. It's just such a shame all this sympathy for Amy has come so late... too late to save her life, but not too late to show her memory some respect.
