• Yes, Hansen is a top scientist at NASA. There are MANY scientific institutions that are NOT government run. In case you didn't know, governments have a history of suppressing scientific warning regarding the risks of climate change. Hansen experienced this with the w/cheney administration. Try researching or read his book; Storms Of My Grandchildren. That is, IF you read.
