@dirint They're all wild animals with appropriate stomach bacteria to handle the bacteria.. Also, humans are so domesticated we wouldnt be able to chew the fuckers lol
-
@soldierside365 yeah, and dogs/bears/lions/cheetahs all cooked their meats as well. lolololol. what a joke. :)

interesting.. i never thought that cooking it significantly reduces bioavailability anyway, since i'd rather have a good tasting steak than go down with food poisoning because i wanted more protein lol and i'll have to do some research on that.. sounds like i could make alot of enemies on popular bodybuilding videos haha where did you get that info?

I've read some literature which would point to the idea that protein typically becomes more bioavailable when cooked, not less- in accordance with this is the theory among paleontologists that early man actually cooked the majority of his meat.

See if you watched pumping iron you'd remeber Arnold Had partys on the weekends..Alchohol, plus did anyone else notice Arnold was also drinking a Margeritta, the list goes on and on, Arnold drank alot, and I'm not saying he was a drunk it didn't affect him as such a large being, but alchohol does make you fat. But to Arnold Advantage he had higher testosterone levels then the norml person.

@infamoustren Even though it is beef, it is not a "steak", its ground beef so you have to be even more cautious with it.. The reasoning is that the grinders the meat goes through does not get thoroughly sanitized allowing for bacteria to grow on the blades, which then grind up more meat.. Safe to eat when fully cooked, but will pose health hazards when still pink.. Steaks on the other hand are fine as red as you'd like them...

the theory is that cooking protein makes it lose its concentration. its the same reason why they say cold water is better than warm water when using protein shakes.. btw, i cannot find anything that supports this right now, but i have read it before. you might have done research since this was posted 3 months ago :P
Steaks and eggs, definitely the cornerstones for a bodybuilder's diet.
