  • In fact, this is great that the world can see her performances. One of the best memories from her performances - Lali Kandelaki used to repeat her brilliant and exceptional 32 pirouettes (triple, double etc) during the performances of Don Quixote in third act. You could not here music because of the audience emotions! This is unforgettable…… She is exceptionally great !

  • woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow!!!!! that was too good!

  • Enjoyed the performance.

  • wonderful pirouettes!! ..:))

  • Amazing! ^^

  • women in Dom Quichotte (original cast) Quiteria or Kitri as the principal, Mercedes (the Spada's wife also knowed as "La Callejera").Juanita and Piquilla Kitri's friends, Chelita looks as a mexican friend visiting town...maybe she must dance Jarabe Tapatio,La Cucaracha or something...I danced for 15 years in 3 diferent countrys one of those was Mexico at Ballet de Monterrey ,they dont know any Chelita ...

  • @aircat29 First, sometimes names change depending on the production, for example Clara is called Masha in russian production for the nutcracker. Second, Chelita is not a mayan name, as you sugested by refering to the Popol Vuh, Chela derives from Isabel which is an Spanish name. Third, mexican names are beautiful. About the dance, she is a gorgeous dancer with bright techinque and bravura. Bravo Lali!

  • fabulous

  • why Chelita?? is Kitri's or Quiteria's variation!!..who is Chelita? what are we, mexicans??is Don Quijote or Popol Vuh?
