@psion128 My tomatoes are still growing, but they had trouble pollenating at first so I had one month of flowers but no tomatoes getting started. Now I have about twenty tomatoes growing, but none have started turning red yet. Only 20 tomatoes which I may or may not see ripen by April. I don't think Aerogarden is right for full size tomatoes. I want to get another one, because I bought the kit that allows me to start 70 seeds indoors that can be transported outdoors after 4 weeks.

I believe its a tree. So you'll have to transplant to a pot eventually. Just double check on that.

I got an aerogarden a couple of weeks ago, I set it up to grow two tomato plants last weekend. Today I have at least two plants in each coming up. I'd like to get a couple more, one for super sweet cherry tomatoes and one for a heirloom fairytale red peppers that are half the size of a regular red pepper. I'll wait a month on that to see how the tomatoes do.

All my stuff is done. One of my AG's light bulbs went out and I was so busy will college that they all died. :( One is bad because I made the mistake of taking off the green cover from the growing media. Its all coated in algae and the one system is contaminated. I have to either try transplanting them to soil to try and save them or just let them die.

@psion128 I think that the aerogarden will be good for greens. To avoid mold, you may want to look into ocean sea water. I bought a gallon of concentrated purified ocean water that contains all the minerals that plants need and the sodium helps to prevent mold. I put 2 tbsps in every two weeks. I think that the product has potential. I'll keep experimenting to see what it's really good for. Don't the light bulbs last for 6 months?

@rayme4raw - cool. Thanks for the tip. The light bulbs are suppose to last a minimum of 6 months. If they go longer the better. They are a bit pricey for just replacing them.
