I Salute both the 109 and 190 .. They were both outstanding and respected fighters in WW2

I'm very happy to say I walked around the very same Dora that was shown in this video, along with the worlds only flying original 190 today. Amazing aircraft.

both the me 109s and fw 190s were the most outstanding german fighters of the second world war and both of them were notorious in destroying american four engine heavu bombers.

@thesparitan that's funny - it was the catalyst for me to develop an interest in military aviation history, too - specifically the air war over Europe in WW2. I've probably read upwards of 20 books on the subject and watched every documentary and video clip I could find. I love it! just glad I didn't have to fight it! But hats off to those who did - on both sides!

I love Wings of the Luftwaffe and hope I can sit in the cockpit of a 190 before I die. Nazism obviously not a good thing but what technology, what machines, what pilots, what stories. I've watched this episode 20+ times and sometimes play it in the background to calm and soothe me during stressful moments lol.
