  • I was working with MAG Productions in 1973 when we booked MQ for a midnight show. We did the first midnight shows at the Metropolitan Theatre in Houston. His keyboard stuff was awesom. We also did the late Billy Preston. Quatro was a hoot. He sooo hit on one of the guy's ladies- and scored. He was all testosterone. Those were the days. We were ahead of our time. We had to cancel one of two shows in Austin with no less than Bob Seeger cause we did not sell enough tickets.

  • @Whaceone : Mike hasn't changed and is so funny some time I can't stop laffing..

  • I met Michael when he was a concert promoter,He was all pumped up about doing some project on the piano through a waa waa pedal. It was an all day deal at the Cincy Gardens with Amboy Dukes Cradle with his sisters including Suzi Quatro, and a bunch of others my dad was a record sales manager with MCA records, we got back stage at the event and some of my black and whites can be seen on my videos of Ted Nugent. I will also post a pic of Suzi. Thanks

  • He is a great musician!

  • Nice version of the "King Crimson" original with Robert Fripp on lead guitar and Greg Lake on Bass and lead vocal.

  • I have this on Evolution Records. Pretty good.

  • I only wish this were available on CD...I had this album when it came out.

  • My first concert was Michael Quatro when I was 15 years old at the Akron Civic Theatre. It was amazing! My friends older brother was very into him and he took us. I am glad I went, it really opened my eyes to all music. It was amazing!!!!

  • Nice post. I had seen Quatro w/ Alice Cooper headlining and Ted Nugent/Amboy Dukes in st louis. There were two other bands also but I have a hard time recalling those groups. Thanks, great to hear this stuff.
